ADP is currently seeking a Senior Director of Events Marketing to focus on creating the overall event strategy while executing on that vision from beginning to end. Depending on the event @type, this could include the coordination of responsibilities, location scouting, theme and design creation, content strategy, promotional giveaways, lead routing and success tracking and reporting and more, all for ADP's Compliance Solutions business unit. Events are primarily focused on sponsorship of industry and partner-led events but will also include ADP-led events. Although broad marketing experience is helpful, this position requires specific skills and proven success in leading strategy and execution for a high volume of events throughout the year. Reporting directly to the VP, Compliance Solutions Marketing and with direction managerial responsibility of a small team, this leader will have responsibility for guiding the direction and growth of the ADP Compliance Solutions events portfolio. Success will require close partnership across Sales and Marketing leadership to define the appropriate event strategy for driving audience, pipeline and sponsorship goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive the overall strategy and execution of all event related programs, start to finish
Manage a small team of individuals to ensure the successful execution of a high volume of events throughout the year
Work closely with event, sales and marketing and other leaders to secure the right mix of events based on business goals, ROI expectations and priorities
Act as "theme steward" to ensure all aspects of the event, including content, pre- and post-event communications, signage, and other multimedia elements (video, print, etc.) materials align appropriately
Develop creative program concepts and precision management of the respective events to ensure overall event content is one-of-a-kind and unmatched
Partner with:
Brand and Product Marketing to ensure branding and messaging are aligned, effective and within guidelines
Demand Marketing Operations to ensure back-end event tagging and logistics are in place to properly track and report on event outcomes
Sales Operations and Strategy to develop the overall internal education to ensure the readiness of the participating ADP associates
Other members of the marketing and sales teams to ensure planning, content and communications are on aligned and coordinated
Manage speaker session logistics including (when applicable) speaker selection, presentation creation (with partnership from others), and session follow up
Collaborate with cross-functional leads to review and vote on external / keynote speaker selection
Develop strong relationships with cross functional teams including Alliances, Sales, and other Business Unit-specific marketing contacts
Collaborate and work with agency partners to maximize value and output
Post-event recap and assessment to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices and process improvements
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors (Master's Degree preferred) in Business Administration, Management, Marketing or a related field
15 years or more of proven event marketing and management of large tech industry events with experience attending and coordinating the presence at large annual user conferences or company trade shows
Event-development and production experience
Experience in managing, collaborating and developing positive business relationships with all cross-functional peers and stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment
HCM product knowledge beneficial and is a longer-term requirement for the role
Other content development and programming experience (such as proven success managing tradeshow programs or curriculum design/development) preferred and will be helpful in this role
Extensive tools experience that includes, but not limited to project and workflow management, budgeting, Artificial Intelligence, design, Microsoft Office (Excel / PowerPoint) and more
Strong communication skills, with experience at speaking / presenting to executive audiences
Ability to work on multiple projects at once, set priorities, work proactively and independently, problem solve, improvise, manage conflicting priorities, and function as part of a team that must perform under pressure
Strategic thinker who can take initiative and think creatively to add value and enhance current and new programs

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage or minimum exempt salary requirement under federal, state and local laws.
