As a Security Guard - Manufacturing Patrol in Waterloo, IA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. This position is primarily driving and requires a valid driver's license. You will engage with employees and visitors, provide outstanding customer service, and support a secure environment, embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial site, including the perimeter and interior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Observe and report any unusual conditions, potential hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.

Assist with controlling access points and verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location.

Support site operations by maintaining a visible presence and addressing inquiries or concerns from employees, visitors, and contractors.

Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
