Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Greenland, New Hampshire. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring efficient billing and payment processes. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong background in accounts receivable and commercial collections.

Responsibilities:

Input new project details into the system, verifying contract values for accuracy.

Assess insurance tickets and coordinate bond requests as needed.

Prepare and submit monthly construction billings, ensuring all required documents, such as lien waivers and stored materials billing, are included.

Record sales transactions in CF Data and internal systems through efficient data entry.

Process change orders in CF Data, ensuring correct contract pricing adjustments.

Post cash receipts and handle check deposits electronically, eliminating the need for physical bank visits.

Communicate with General Contractors to address payment inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies.

Track payment schedules, typically ranging between 45 and 60 days, while maintaining organized and up-to-date records. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable, including billing and collections.

Familiarity with commercial collections and cash application processes.

Proficiency in managing billing functions and documenting financial transactions.

Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in contract and payment data.

Effective communication skills for liaising with contractors and resolving payment issues.

Experience using financial software systems, such as CF Data, is highly desirable.

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Solid organizational skills to maintain precise records and payment tracking.
