Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting practices and experience working with various financial systems.

Responsibilities:

Manage the processing of expense reports to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement.

Oversee accounts payable operations, including invoice verification and payment disbursement.

Perform invoicing tasks and ensure compliance with company policies.

Conduct thorough two-way match reviews to verify purchase orders and invoices.

Handle organizational payments, ensuring they are processed correctly and on schedule.

Maintain and update transactional accounting records with precision.

Collaborate with the finance team to support overall accounting functions.

Assist with audits by preparing necessary documentation and reconciling discrepancies.

Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy.

Utilize accounting software and ERP systems to streamline processes and generate reports.

Requirements - Proficiency in accounting software systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools.

Demonstrated knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

Familiarity with auditing practices and balance sheet account reconciliation.

Experience using Concur for expense management.

Strong understanding of transactional accounting principles.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
