Job Title: Product Development Technician

Job Description

The technician will assist in the development, testing, and refinement of beverage formulations, working closely with R&D scientists, operations, and quality teams. This hands-on role includes bench work, sample preparation, trial support, and documentation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and execute product samples and trials, including batching, blending, and bench-top formulation.

Support product developers in evaluating new ingredients, formulations, and processing methods.

Accurately document trial results, sample feedback, and formulation changes.

Maintain lab equipment and ensure readiness for testing and development activities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Operations) to support commercialization and scale-up.

Participate in sensory evaluations and assist in collecting feedback.

Help troubleshoot formulation or processing issues during trials.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Degree in the Sciences OR 2 years of Lab/Quality Experience in a regulated environment.

Associate degree or technical training in food science, chemistry, or a related field preferred.

Experience in food or beverage product development, lab work, or manufacturing support is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Good communication and documentation skills.

Willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative team.

Work Environment

The position is based at our manufacturing facilities in Little Chute and Neenah, WI, operating on an 8:30 am to 4:30 pm schedule, totaling 40 hours per week. The role involves working in a dynamic and collaborative environment, offering opportunities for professional growth based on performance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
