Job Title: Automation Technician

Job Description

This is a traveling Automation Technician role where you will work on parcel and sorting machines at various client sites across the United States.

Responsibilities

Travel to different client sites to service and maintain parcel and sorting machines.

Perform mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and service on automated equipment.

Inspect, wire, and construct conveyor systems.

Conduct quality assurance and preventive maintenance tasks.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Install and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Utilize hand tools, power tools, and electronic testing equipment effectively.

Essential Skills

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Experience with automation, electronics, and field service operations.

Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.

Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Ability to work with hand and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

OSHA 10 certification.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Danbury, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $48.00/hr.
