As a Security Officer - Hotel Guest Patrol in Herndon, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a renowned hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with guests and staff, providing exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel, including guest areas, back-of-house, and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unauthorized persons on the premises.

Work closely with hotel staff and guests to address concerns and provide assistance as needed, maintaining a professional presence at all times.

Assist with access control and/or crowd management during events or busy periods at the location.

Complete detailed and accurate reports related to security-related incidents, daily activities, and/or any unusual occurrences.

Minimum Requirements:

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
