Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Specialized Experience (GS-12): To be eligible at the GS-12 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 in the Federal service performing Administrative Services Specialist work. Specialized experience is defined as performing the following @types of duties: Developing and documenting acquisition strategies for procuring supplies and services; reviewing requisitions and determining appropriate contract @types, competition requirements, contract vehicle and applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) authorities; developing procurement plans; identifying support service functions and related issues in need of study, market analysis, conducting investigations, and preparing option papers to present findings; coordinating a variety of facility maintenance and/or repair activities for workspaces; utilizing information systems for generating contracts; or serving as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for construction, maintenance, service contracts, and minor repair projects.
