Job Title: Shift Receiving Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Shift Receiving Specialist to join our warehouse team. This role involves unloading products from trailers, verifying received merchandise, and safely transporting items to their storage locations. You will play a crucial part in ensuring our inventory is accurately maintained and organized.

Responsibilities

Physically unload products from trailers into the warehouse using hands or appropriate machinery.

Verify the quantity and description of products received by checking merchandise against receiving labels.

Inspect incoming shipments, reject damaged items, and appropriately report any damages through the appropriate channels.

Attach identifying labels to products.

Safely load products onto a stock picker and transport them to the storing location in the warehouse.

Accurately place products in assigned warehouse storing locations.

Scan product labels and rack location labels using Radio Frequency inventory control equipment.

Distribute supplies and non-warehouse products to the appropriate department or personnel.

Essential Skills

At least 6 months of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or laborer role.

Experience operating a forklift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to push/pull/lift up to 100lbs.

Capability to work at heights of approximately 35 feet for top-level placement of products.

Work Environment

Work within a dynamic warehouse environment where continuous physical activity, such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting, is required throughout the shift. Employees must be comfortable with heights and able to lift/move objects up to 110 pounds unassisted. The warehouse maintains a casual dress code, requiring boots on the floor. The team is diverse, with 60% of staff being bilingual.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Swansea, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
