Job Title: Shipping Specialist / Lighting Production Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a Shipping Specialist / Lighting Production Technician to join our dynamic team. This dual-role position supports both the shipping and lighting production departments, working closely with the Warehouse Manager, Facilities Manager, and Production Team Lead. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys hands-on work in a collaborative team environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, values quality and accuracy, and is eager to contribute to both product assembly and shipping operations.

Responsibilities

Package and ship customer orders efficiently with minimal oversight.

Ensure shipments comply with local and international regulations.

Coordinate the shipment of goods to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Maintain accurate records of all shipments and related documentation.

Recommend improvements to shipping processes and workflows.

Essential Skills

Experience in warehouse and shipping operations.

Proficiency in using forklifts and hand tools.

Strong organizational and material handling skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in packaging, picking, and receiving.

Knowledge of shipping and logistics processes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Bedford, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job

classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
