The Opportunity
This position is responsible for overseeing the execution of secured and unsecured capital markets transactions, market intelligence, bank and rating agency relationships, fixed income investor relations and asset and liability management support.
The Work Itself
Support the establishment and execution of strategic priorities of the capital markets funding team, while managing team workflow.
Manage the end-to-end unsecured and secured issuance process, including market analysis, structuring, documentation, investor marketing and pricing
Monitor capital markets conditions and recommend opportunistic issuance, refinancing or liability-management actions
Partner and lead communication with internal teams, including balance sheet management, investor relations, capital team, accounting and legal, to ensure seamless execution of financing transactions
Lead internal controls, documentation and governance for all funding activities
Collaborate with broader funding & liquidity leadership team on executive-level deliverables, including ad-hoc analyses, presentation materials, technology initiatives, and regulatory strategy
Establish and maintain relationships with relevant market participants, including traders, bankers, capital markets desks as well as with external 3rd parties
Support the structuring and execution of Ally's ABS, corporate debt and equity issuances in the capital markets, including oversight of investor presentations and rating agency materials
Ensure high quality monitoring and analytics of Ally's asset-backed securitization (ABS), corporate debt and equity securities, peer performance, and market conditions
Support Ally's rating agency relationships, including analysis of credit ratings risks and opportunities and preparation of rating agency presentation materials
Actively contribute to the team's collective expertise through self-study, collaboration with team members, and development of junior resources
The Skills You Bring
7+ years progressive experience in the financial industry
Experience with debt capital markets strongly preferred preferred
Experience managing, developing and building teams required
Investment banking experience and/or CFA preferred
Demonstrate process and people leadership capabilities
Superior written and oral communication skills
Well-developed project management, analytical and judgment skills
Demonstrated ability to influence others, build consensus, and communicate effectively
Strong leadership ability and learning agility
Strong technical skill using models and other forecasting tools

Base Pay Range:
An individual's position in the range is determined by the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.

Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan
