Description

We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our team in Birdsboro, Pennsylvania. This is a long-term contract position, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in financial management and accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll, budgeting, and audit procedures, with a focus on maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:

Manage payroll operations efficiently, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Oversee budgeting processes, including the preparation and monitoring of financial plans.

Conduct audits to evaluate financial records and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

Utilize QuickBooks to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.

Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial documentation.

Perform bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies.

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and enhance efficiency.

Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other financial laws.

Provide support during financial reviews and audits, addressing queries and resolving issues.

Requirements - Proven experience with QuickBooks and ADP for payroll and accounting tasks.

Strong understanding of audit procedures and budgeting techniques.

Proficiency in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.

Ability to prepare and post journal entries accurately.

Experience with bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.

Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Solid communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
