Mechanical Engineer in our downtown Milwaukee Corporate Headquarters
office. Being a member of the GRAEF Mechanical Team will provide
opportunities to: Benefit from our national client relationships to work
on projects throughout the Midwest and across the country. Participate
in project pursuits, proposals, and developing strong client
relationships. Mentor less experienced mechanical staff. Professional
growth opportunities. As a member of the GRAEF Mechanical Team, your
responsibilities may include: Developing drawings and specifications for
HVAC systems serving industrial manufacturing facilities. Perform
facility assessments related to the HVAC systems within industrial
facilities. Perform project management and mentorship of junior
engineers. Coordinate between multiple disciplines and attend regular
meetings. Perform computer-aided drafting using Revit and design for
various projects. We are considering candidates who possess the
following minimum qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in mechanical or
architectural engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) license. A minimum
of 8 years of relevant design experience. Experience in the design and
specification of HVAC systems including central cooling plants, central
heating plants, and high-capacity airside equipment. Commissioning
experience would be a plus. Experience working with HVAC load
calculation and energy modeling software. Proficiency in the following
software is preferred: Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office products. Good
communication skills and the ability to work independently are crucial.
