Description

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Assistant to join our team in Willow Springs, Illinois. This contract-to-permanent position is ideal for someone who thrives in a sales-driven environment and enjoys providing exceptional customer service. You will play a key role in guiding prospective residents through the leasing process while maintaining strong relationships with current tenants. Weekend availability is required as part of the schedule. Hours are 3 days per weekdays from 9AM-6PM, Saturdays from 10AM-5PM and Sundays from 12-5PM. Please know weekends are mandatory.

Responsibilities:

Showcase apartment units to prospective residents, emphasizing the features and benefits of the community.

Respond promptly to inquiries, schedule property tours, and utilize effective sales strategies to secure leases.

Support new residents with move-ins and assist current tenants with lease renewals and maintenance requests.

Maintain accurate and organized records of residents and leasing activities using RealPage OneSite.

Ensure apartments are move-in ready by coordinating with property management and monitoring property appearance.

Answer inbound calls and provide detailed information about leasing options and community amenities.

Assist with scanning and organizing important documents related to leasing agreements and renewals.

Collaborate with the team to achieve leasing goals and contribute to the overall success of the property.

Engage in cold calling when necessary to attract potential residents and expand leasing opportunities.

Provide exceptional customer service to enhance resident satisfaction and retention.

Requirements - Proven experience in sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.

Strong communication skills and a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.

Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Familiarity with RealPage OneSite or similar property management software.

Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.

Experience with lease agreements, renewals, and customer retention strategies.

Comfortable with cold calling and consultative sales techniques.
