SUMMARY
Supports manufacturing and service cells in test, service, and calibration of ACIT Sensor products. Responsible for performing all levels of calibrations, test setups, data collection, and/or data analysis using recognized methodologies based upon a combination of experience and written procedures. Utilizes analog and digital calibration techniques to sync a driver to a probe at a certain distance and frequency while looking at a specified target material.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Manufacturing Support
Calibrates Capacitive and Inductive measurement systems
Performs final assembly and test of Customer product
Performs troubleshooting of electronic circuit assemblies
Performs Customer requested tests and reports results
Works with Engineering on difficult or new product calibrations
Maintains customer calibration records and databases
Drives quality and efficiency improvements in calibration area Service
Troubleshoots and repairs customer product sent for service or calibration
Calibrates repaired systems
Assists in final test and calibration or setup of sensor products
Setups and configures sensor products
Other duties as required in support of the department and the company

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on equivalent basis
Associate Degree in Electronics preferred
Two (2) years of calibration experience within the last five (5) years in a private, public, government, or military environment required
Minimum one (1) year calibration experience operating to ISO 9001 standards
Ability to apply deductive logic to troubleshoot failed circuits to sub-assembly and/or component level in analog and mixed signal systems.
Basic electronics knowledge
Analog and Digital Circuitry
Understanding of electronic schematics
Knowledge of test equipment (Power Supplies, Scopes, Generators, Meters, and other Test Equipment)
Surface mount and through hole soldering

IPC620 or J-Std Soldering Certification preferred (active/inactive)

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Amphenol CIT is a clean facility, housing different machinery, equipment, processes, and chemicals which produce potential hazards in the work environment such as ergonomic, chemical, machine point of operation. These hazards are controlled through means of engineering controls, such as machine guarding, and administrative controls, such as safety policies and programs. In certain areas of the facility, employees are required to wear Personal Protective equipment such as Hearing Protection, Safety Glasses and hand protection.

SALARY INFORMATION:
According to several states' laws, this position's salary range falls between $26 and $35 per hour. However, this salary information is merely a general guideline. When extending an offer, Amphenol CIT considers various factors such as the position's responsibilities, scope of work, candidate's work experience, education/training, essential skills, internal pay equity, and market considerations.
