[Ground Crew Application - It provides ground support for agricultural aerial application business. Duties will include: Fuel the plane by connecting and disconnecting fuel hose to and from the airplane. Mix chemicals - Read and understand a load ticket. Load the plane with chemical by connecting and disconnecting load hose to and from plane. Load plane with fertilizer by driving and operating forklift. Clean all equipment daily. Mow airstrips. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Minimum of (3) months experience required. Must be able to obtain a driver\'s license within 30 days of hire. Basic math skills. Must be able to read, understand and follow directions. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. What your day may look like- Blends and loads all chemical mixes prior to each load/flight.- Clean aircraft.- Maintains general awareness of inventory levels and fuel levels for leader.- Maintains cleanliness in hanger/loadout areas.- Reliable and regular attendance is expected.- Very early mornings are often required. Other skills that will help you succeed- Customer service oriented.- Ability to work under pressure. Your work environment and the physical aspects of the job; At Helena, safety is our highest priority. We seek out extensive safety measures and put them in place to minimize exposure to anything that could be potentially harmful to our employees. The work environment for this position may require the employee to work in an outdoor setting in all @types of weather conditions with exposure to outdoor elements. When working outdoors and possibly around moving equipment/mechanical parts, the employee may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, chemical and biological hazards, vibrations and a risk of electrical shock. This position requires you to use your hands for many different tasks and to talk, hear, walk, stand and sit.
