As a Security Officer - Armed Manufacturing Patrol in Tampa, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents throughout a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires carrying a firearm and driving as part of your daily duties. What You'll Do:

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients and visitors at the manufacturing and industrial location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, acting in accordance with training and site protocols.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.

Monitor access points, check credentials, and observe for unusual or suspicious behavior in and around the premises.

Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance issues as required by site protocols.

Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following established procedures and communicating with relevant personnel.

Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to support the overall security-related objectives of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
