As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Grass Lake, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your presence and routine patrols will support a sense of order, while your exceptional customer service and communication skills will foster positive interactions. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter.

Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and client representatives.

Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through visible presence and patrols.

Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors at the location.

Document incidents and maintain accurate records as required by site policies and Allied Universal guidelines.

Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions as directed by Allied Universal and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
