Now Hiring: Staff Accountant

Location: Waimea, Hawaii

Pay: $30/hr | Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

What You'll Do

General Accounting (70%)

Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, and fixed asset management

Reconcile patient trust accounts, handle cash activities, and participate in payroll processes

Prepare monthly financial statistics and coordinate bank transfers

Assist with sales tax returns, year-end closeouts, and federal form preparations

Support budgeting efforts and ensure accurate financial coding

Other Accounting & Office Tasks (30%)

Help manage capital improvement projects

Provide backup for accounting staff as needed

Compile financial and patient accounting reports

Contribute to finance department policy and procedure drafts

Take on additional assignments as directed

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree OR equivalent accounting experience

Minimum 1.5 years progressive accounting experience

Certifications not required

Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm schedule
