Engineer Senior -- Testing sought by Schaeffler Transmission Systems, LLC in Wooster, OH.

Position Duties: Conduct all activities required for validation and verification (V&V), for products and contained system, mechanical, E/E or software elements. Contribute to the development and implementation of a suitable verification and validation strategy at the defined integration levels based on given standards. Contribute to the development and implementation of verification and validation activities in accordance with given standards (incl. testing of virtual or physical objects, static analyses, simulation). Contribute to the exchange of development-related

information and collaboration with internal/external development partners (e.g. system, E/E- or software development), or providers of equipment and tools (e.g. test rigs, test environment for MIL-, SIL-, PIL-, HIL-tests), or customers. Apply given verification or validation processes (e.g. ISTQB Foundation Level). Develop Design Verification Plan (DVP) for system and assigned system element. Direct the design, fabrication, and installation of mechanical and hydraulic test equipment. Develop methods to analyze test data to meet program objectives. Support requirements management and system design. Support IV&V strategy and project DVP. Determine the initial cost estimation and rough scheduling for DVP test. Create the test report. Execute the Return Part Analysis (RPA) and create the report.
