The Director of Sales is responsible for driving the success and efficiency of our organization's account management teams. This role involves developing and executing strategies to achieve revenue and cost-of-sale objectives while fostering a high-performance culture within the sales organization. This position requires a balance of strategic vision, operational execution, and strong relationship management skills to deliver strong results across an account portfolio.

Shapes the vision for account management teams to capture high yield revenue opportunities while maintaining cost-efficient sales practices
Leverages a deep understanding of corporate customer and agency partner needs to drive the growth of company products and programs, aligned with overall business objectives
Leads and manages projects at the intersection of technology and strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering innovative solutions
Develops and integrates strategic themes into playbooks, providing guidance and frameworks that support decision-making and execution
Works with account managers to evaluate the economics of discount programs and other sales initiatives to ensure profitability
Serves as a key representative for the company at industry conferences and events with corporates and agencies to enhance relationships and visibility
Supports the development of deals and contracts with corporates and/or agencies and collaborates closely with our Programs teams on negotiations to ensure favorable terms
Coordinates communications across the group, maintaining clarity, consistency, and alignment for all initiatives and stakeholders
Plans, organizes, and promotes episodic events, leveraging targeted campaigns to engage audiences and reinforce strategic priorities.
Works closely with our Sales Operations team on the recruitment, training, and professional development of sales teams
Maintains an understanding of competitor initiatives, programs, and industry trends
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience
Bachelor's degree in business-related discipline or equivalent experience/training
7 years of leadership experience, overseeing large cross-functional teams
7 years of airline or related sales experience
Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience
MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field
Skills, Licenses, and Certifications
Demonstrates the highest standards of personal ethics and integrity
Knowledge of airline economics / revenue management theory
Ability to think strategically, negotiate skillfully, digest complex details, and use sound judgment and initiative in making decisions
Ability to identify creative and innovative solutions to complex problems
