Join the Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) team, where you'll contribute to groundbreaking innovations! We are seeking an Information Systems Technician to help support and maintain our virtual and physical computer environments. In this role, you will assist with troubleshooting, provide technical support to systems administrators and team members, and help ensure the reliability of our systems. The ideal candidate is dependable, task-driven, and passionate about technology, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible, onsite position based at our North Logan location.

SDL delivers advanced multi-domain solutions to protect national security and enable scientific discovery. Our expertise in satellites, sensors and instruments, ground systems and data processing, and autonomous systems plays a critical role in missions supporting NASA and the Department of Defense. Responsibilities

Test OS and software updates/patches in virtual and physical environment relating to software and hardware

Assist in maintaining computer systems and software applications both virtually and physically

Following and creating documentation for technical issues and resolutions

Collaborate with IT team members to implement system patches/upgrades and improvements

Provide support to systems administrators by executing documented solutions as directed

Ensure compliance with security protocols and organizational policies

Required Qualifications.

Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance

Active CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification that meets or exceeds DoD 8570 IAT Level II (or be able to obtain within a maximum of 30 days after hire)

Must be willing and able to work 40 hours per week

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Dependable, with a proven ability to complete tasks accurately and on time

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

Experience helping customers and solving complex IT-related problems

Experience working in a virtual systems environment

Active security clearance

Salary Range

$38,000- $50,000

This range serves as a general guideline and may vary based on factors such as role, level, location, market conditions, and individual qualifications, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The range displayed in the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries across all US locations.
