As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol Driver in Clinton, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a secure environment for all occupants. This role requires both armed responsibilities and driving duties as you conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.

Monitor access points and authorized areas, verifying identification and credentials as required by site protocols.

Communicate clearly with team members, site personnel, and local authorities when necessary.

Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and client guidelines.

Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and unusual occurrences as directed by site procedures.

Remain alert and attentive to surroundings, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the assignment.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

An armed guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
