Job Title: Administrative AccountantJob Description

The Administrative Accountant plays a crucial role in maintaining positive tenant relations, supporting property management functions, and ensuring efficient administrative operations. This position requires a proactive approach to managing tenant inquiries, coordinating events, and assisting with lease administration and financial processes.

Responsibilities

Respond to tenant needs and inquiries, and coordinate with maintenance staff to resolve problems.

Build strong working relationships with vendor partners, clients, and tenants.

Coordinate tenant events and manage conference room schedules as part of the Tenant Relations program.

Support the reporting process, including budgets, leasing reports, and monthly reports.

Assist with all aspects of Lease Administration.

Ensure compliance with Risk Management policies, including the collection of tenant and vendor Insurance Certificates.

Assist with Accounts Payable processes, including invoice coding.

Assist with Accounts Receivable processes.

Perform property inspections and assist with vendor and building supply procurement to ensure buildings are well-maintained.

Coordinate tenant and vendor-related correspondence.

Coordinate new property onboarding.

Facilitate tenant move-in and move-out coordination.

Perform general administrative duties including phone support, document filing, managing schedules, and maintaining tenant/vendor databases and task trackers.

Assist in all functions of the Property Management Division.

Essential Skills

Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.

Ability to multi-task and handle multiple deadlines.

Strong attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Background in customer service is a plus.

Enjoys working in a fun and light-hearted environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
