As a Security Officer - Industrial Access Control in Millwood, WV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor entry points and manage access for a busy manufacturing and industrial location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service through clear communication. You'll play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for our client's operations, all while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and people-first care. This position is ideal for those who are comfortable using technology and adaptable to unique site settings.

Mon02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Wed02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific policies.

Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting individuals entering or exiting the premises, while following all security-related procedures.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as outlined in emergency response protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols of the business premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any irregularities.

Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client requirements.

Follow all site-specific policies and procedures to help maintain a secure environment for those working or visiting the location.

Minimum Requirements:

Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Willingness to work at locations with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
