Project Overview:
Bechtel is the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) partner on the Northrop Grumman team to deliver the Sentinel Program, which is modernizing the ground-based leg of the U.S. nuclear deterrent triad, including intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) systems and launch infrastructure. Bechtel's scope of service in Sentinel's current Engineering & Manufacturing Development phase focuses on the ground infrastructure component of the program.
A major contractor for the United States and allied governments, Bechtel has handled such efforts as chemical weapons demilitarization projects, missile-defense, infrastructure, base operations, procurement and project management, and restoration and recovery spanning half a century. Job Summary:
In this role, you will manage the Project's Software baseline, supporting the I&D Manager and Project with software acquisitions, renewals, license management and maintenance. The role will interface with all Project departments to ensure proper SW licensing alignment with requirements and use. Develops/monitors metrics to track SW usage to ensure proper allocation of resources. This is an early career / college hire position. #LI-TN1
Major Responsibilities:
Supports the I&D manager, managing all project software purchases, renewals, and maintenance
Serves as a liaison between I&D and functions regarding software licensing and other issues related to software use and provisioning
At the discretion of the I&D Manager, aids the IT Service Center and/or the PIM (Digital Delivery)
Develops reports and metrics to monitor Project SW usage to ensure
Works with Bechtel Demand Management to onboard (gain approval of) new software and systems to ensure compliance with Corporate information security standards
Assists the I&D Manager with special assignments and may take on more advanced roles with experience gained on the job
Develops scripts, dashboards, reporting
Assists the digital delivery team utilizing basic knowledge of applications, system-level software, user security and general computing applications
Executes and monitors scheduled system processes
Maintains and updates technical documents and procedures
Assists the support team in resolving technical issues
Assists in managing maintenance plans and upgrading schedules for the organization's systems
Education and Experience Requirements:
Grade I
Typically a University Hire with less than 1 year of experience or 4-5 years of relevant work experience
Grade II
Typically a University Hire with 1-2 years of experience or 5-6 years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge and Skills:
