Banking Project Manager- Hybrid Role (Not Remote). Local Candidates Only Please

We are working with our client in the northern suburbs in search of a Sr. Project Management professional. This is a W2 contract role and is hybrid (2-3x a week onsite)

Candidate should have 10+ years of PM experience, some of which is in the financial services industry.

Successfully defines and delivers customer business value or emerging technology work according to the product lifecycle

Lead the coordination of delivery from planning through to execution across multiple teams

Create roadmaps and schedules, and communicates on a regular cadence with key stakeholders

Manage dependencies and risk for the teams

Manage the communications across the teams and to ensure that information is flowing up and down at the appropriate time

Monitor for impediments that arise

Plan and oversee product initiatives from inception to implementation while

ensuring necessary functionality and flexibility aligned with the company's

long term objectives.

Orchestrate workflows across teams and complex portfolios in a matrixed operating model.

Partner with product and platform leads to develop the business case, scope the work, and ensure alignment on vision and strategy.

Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

How You'll Do It

Organizes and enables collaboration and partnership across cross-functional teams, with internal and external partners, executes on architecture & product driven initiatives.

Drives or assists in communications on strategic initiatives to help drive consensus, achieve clarity and solve business problems. Provide oversight & process guidance for activities.

Facilitate and drive decisions from key stakeholders around financials, scope, risks and dependencies.

Partner with product leads and platform leads to develop the business case and ensure alignment on vision and strategy

Provides leadership and guidance's to teams/business units where there is no clear organizational ownership yet defined or where products/technology is not yet institutionalized or adopted.

Drives or assists research and/or brainstorming sessions; helps promote a culture of innovation within the department. Translates ideas and concepts into an executable projects.

This is a Contract position based out of Deerfield, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.
