Operations (Production) Specialist

KZValve, LLC - Greenwood, NE

Summary:

Under the direction of the Production Manager, the Operations Specialist will assist in coordinating day to day tasks and activities for the operations department(s).

Description:

Responsible for the accurate and timely input, maintenance, filing and reporting of all employee data, including Dimensions/Kronos system and training matrix.

Coordinate timecards regarding accuracy, approvals, and coordinating use of PTO.

Scheduling and coordination of training which will include the maintenance of the training matrix.

Responsible for badge changes and updates - including the Fastenal Machine.

Provide support for quarterly pizza meetings, town hall meetings, and other plant events

Create and maintain communication as requested (print and electronic) for events, reminders, and other employee relation activities.

Assist with annual and compliance training courses utilizing the Workday system and supporting the hourly employee group.

Maintain operation work instructions.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Associate or undergraduate degree in applicable field preferred.

Prior administrative operations experience in a manufacturing environment ideal.

Effective communication - written and verbal - with all levels of stakeholders.

Strong Microsoft Office skills - (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Prior Workday and Kronos timekeeping experience desired.

Position Details:

Full-Time, non-exempt position. Preferred core hours to be 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Typical workweek is Monday through Thursday with 10-hour shifts. Overtime may be required.

Position is on-site at the plant.

Position reports to the Production Manager.
