Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the general direction of the Director of Outpatient Rehab and Sleep Center and the direct supervision of the Supervisor, the Sleep Technician will perform sleep studies according to established policy and procedure.

What qualifications you will need:

Education:

Certificate in Sleep Technology, or Respiratory Therapist with CRT or RRT, EEG Technician or other allied health professional.

Experience:

Minimum of one year sleep lab experience preferred.

Must have been formally trained in Sleep Disorder testing.

Licensure/Certification:

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Registered Sleep Technician (RST) or must become registered within 6 months of hire.
