As a Security Officer - Retail Mall Patrols in Gardena, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent retail location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment for visitors, staff, and merchandise. Your presence and professionalism will contribute to a positive experience for all, while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Mon06:00 AM - 02:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately during emergency situations.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including the sales floor, storage areas, and perimeter, to help to deter potential issues and identify any unusual activity.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.

Support store staff and guests by addressing security-related concerns and escalating situations as needed.

Maintain clear and concise communication with Allied Universal management and location staff regarding incidents, hazards, or concerns.

Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations in and around the location.

Assist with access control procedures, verifying authorized entry and monitoring entry and exit points as directed by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
