Job Title: Materials Planner

Job Description

This Medical Device Manufacturing Facility is committed to delivering innovative solutions that improve patient outcomes. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to support critical operations in procurement, inventory management, and material planning.

Responsibilities

Create, process, and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities.

Stock and maintain inventory levels to meet production and operational needs.

Conduct regular audits and reconcile discrepancies.

Forecast material requirements based on production schedules and demand.

Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure availability of critical components.

Actively manage workflows and resolve supply chain issues.

Assist in developing and improving processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

Essential Skills

Experience in procurement, inventory management, or material planning.

Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across teams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with shipping and receiving, material handling, and inventory control.

Familiarity with inventory management systems and cycle counts.

Knowledge of packaging, picking, RF scanner, and pallet jack operations.

Work Environment

The work environment consists of an 8-5 pm schedule within a manufacturing setting, particularly focused on the shipping and receiving side.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Richland, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.51 - $27.92/hr.
