Sr. Administrative Assistant
Curtiss-Wright Fleet Solutions is searching for an Administrative Assistant to support contracts operations with physical and/or administrative tasks such as, but not limited to:
Contracts administration support
General office support functions
File and record management.
Under general supervision and on own initiative, performs standard and advanced secretarial duties. May support other departments, projects, or contracts as needed. Assists manager with administrative responsibilities. Position requires superior administrative and organizational skills, a thorough knowledge of practices and procedures of the function, company policy and procedures.
Location: Chula Vista, CA
Hourly Rate: $25.38 to $35.00

Your Challenge
Support senior staff with contract support and admin throughout the life cycle of the contract, pre to post award.
Maintains a wide variety of documents (often complex) such as reports, spreadsheets, and presentations utilizing various software and database programs to include Oracle.
Project set up and maintenance in Oracle.
Enter requisitions for planned material of projects.
Internal and external client communication as needed.
Update and maintain various tracking tools and databases.
Responds to requests, distributes correspondence and circulates information to varies parties as needed.
What You Bring
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
2+ years of experience in a similar role.
Shipyard/government experiences a plus.
The ability to learn various government contracts @types: firm fixed price, time and material, IDIQ.
The ability to learn FAR and DFAR and other federal regulations, policies and procedures.
The ability to learn government flow downs requirements.
Proficiency and experience using Adobe and Microsoft Office tools such as Reader, Excel, Word, etc.
General knowledge of office management practices and procedures
Ability to operate standard office Equipment, including but not limited to computer, printer, copy machine, etc.
Ability to lift 25 lbs.
Must be able to communicate effectively and follow procedures and instructions.
Experience using MRP/ERP systems such as Oracle (or equivalent)
