Advanced Regulatory Affairs Associate

The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As an Advanced Product Steward you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Authoring/maintaining Safety Data Sheets & labels for R&D samples, intermediates, & products
Managing customer inquiries related to product regulatory compliance
Managing complex regulatory projects
Leading the division in raw material coordination
Managing and gathering raw material data and updating records associated with raw material changes
Coordinating updates for label artwork with the design teams
Facilitating the collection of regulatory data from cross functional teams
Assisting with tasks associated with new product introduction such as SKU setup, regulatory assessments, and collection of regulatory data from raw material suppliers
Other duties as assigned
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
Three (3) years of experience in Product Stewardship, Regulatory Affairs, Risk Assessment, or Life Cycle Assessment in a private, public, government or military environment in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Master's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering or another technical field from an accredited institution
Five (5) years of product stewardship experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Good knowledge of hazard communication requirements and other global chemical regulations (e.g., OSHA, REACH, TSCA, VOC, GADSL, GHS)
Experience with systems/business processes relevant to regulatory or product responsibility (e.g. Chemical Data Management System (CDMS), Global Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and Life Cycle Management System (LCMS))
Intermediate to advanced expertise in Microsoft applications (e.g., Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
Project management experience
High attention to detail, willingness to take ownership and drive results
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Work location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.
Travel: May include up to 5% domestic
Relocation: Maybe authorized
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $98,413 - $120,282, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
