Job BriefThis position is responsible for processing Detonating Cord or explosive powders safely through the Cord Plant. This job will also complete any other duties assigned by the Team Leader/Manager. Other duties will include:- Demonstrate and be committed to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety leadership- Ensure compliance with applicable HSE Performance Standards, objectives and as well as acts, and regulations- Live and foster the IPL Corporate Values- Supports Manufacturing Excellence initiatives and ensures participation from all areas of responsibility- Ability to achieve output rate- Perform responsibilities in production processes as directed by Manufacturing Manager- The ability to run all facets of Cord manufacturing process in a safe manner, producing quality products at a pace that meets demand- Understanding of processes, strategies and methodologies, production and workflow, working in team environment- Ability to operate machinery including Industrial Powered Equipment.- Follow Standard Operating Procedures for Cord Plant positions- Perform multiple positions as necessary to meet production schedule and fill in when other teammates are outWhat We're Looking For:- High School Diploma or GED preferred- Experience in manufacturing preferred- Ability to operate manual and automatic machinery in a safe and efficient manner- Must be able to work the night schedule - training will be on day shift- Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives- Must be 21 years of age or older- Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team playerWhat We Offer:- 3 weeks vacation + 12 paid holidays + PTO days- Full health benefits including employer HSA contributions + dental plan with an orthodontic option, wellness coaching available- Matching 401K- Generous paid parental leave- Generous tuition reimbursement program- Friendly and supportive coworkersZero Harm for Everyone EverywhereValue People - Respect, Recognize & RewardThink Customer.
