JOB REQUIREMENTS: Essential Duties and Responsibilities This list of

necessary from time to time. 1. Evaluate existing workflows and systems
to identify inefficiencies. 2. Facilitate Kaizen events, 6S programs and
root cause problem solving sessions. 3. Collect and analyze data to
support improvement initiatives focused on cycle time reduction, scrap
and screening minimization and machine uptime. 4. Lead continuous
improvement projects using methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma. 5.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes. 6. Partner
with Production Coordinators to standardize work and document best
practices 7. Manage employee ideas and recognition 8. Educate staff on
continuous improvement principles and practices. 9. Facilitate workshops
and training sessions to promote a culture of improvement 10. Establish
metrics to measure the success of improvement initiatives. 11. Report on
progress and outcomes to management and stakeholders. 12. Performs
quality audits to evaluate product processes and procedures. Identify
deviations from established product or process standards and provide
recommendations for resolving deviations. 13. Conducts process and
machine capability studies. 14. Assists in formulation and
implementation of quality plans. Develop validation master plans,
process flow diagrams, test cases, or standard operating procedures.
Prepare detailed reports or design statements, based on results of
validation and qualification tests or reviews of procedures and
protocols. Conduct validation or qualification tests of new or existing
processes, equipment, or software in accordance with internal protocols
or external standards. Prepare validation or performance qualification
protocols for new or modified manufacturing processes, systems, or
equipment for production of pharmaceuticals, electronics, or other
products. Participate in internal or external training programs to
maintain knowledge of validation principles, industry trends, or novel
technologies. Plan or conduct validation testing of alternative energy
products, such as synthetic jet fuels or energy storage systems, such as
fuel cells. Operate computer-assisted engineering or design software or
equipment to perform engineering tasks. Perform detailed calculations to
compute and establish manufacturing, construction, or installation
standards or specifications. Compile data and write reports regarding
existing or potential electrical engineering studies or projects. Direct
or coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance,
support, documentation, or testing activities to ensure compliance with
specifications, codes, or customer requirements. Confer with engineers,
customers, or others to discuss existing or potential engineering
projects or products. ** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Desired Experience Experience in a defense or aerospace manufacturing
environment is desired, with preference to experience in manufacturing
arms or ammunition. Six Sigma Green Belt or higher Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, production
schedules, purchase orders, maintenance instructions, and procedure
manuals. Ability to write reports, procedure manuals, and
correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with customers,
vendors and other employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure,
using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute
rate, ratio, and percent. Technical Skills Ability to analyze and
interpret statistical, quality and production data. Ability to read and
interpret prints, drawings and specifications. Reasoning Ability Ability
to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete
variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of specifications and information
furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. **
