In this Information Technology Specialist (Application Software) position, you will become a key team member of Homeland Security professionals. Typical work assignments include: Coordinating with business owners, internal and external stakeholders, as well as the application development team to interpret, compose, validate, and translate functional (i.e., business) requirements into technical requirements to develop new and innovative methods for software design, testing, and implementation. Collaborating between the working groups and the Project/Program Manager (PM) to monitor project production and the deployment timeline expected to meet project goals and deadlines. Reviewing and interprets IT policies, standards, and guidelines for agency-wide software design, and implements the latest application development methodologies and processes.
