As a Security Officer - Industrial Access Control in Mountain Iron, MN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining visibility, and supporting access control to help create a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. You'll deliver exceptional customer service while upholding our company's values of reliability, integrity, and teamwork, making a real difference each day in a fast-paced and innovative setting.

Pay Rate: $25.50 / Hour

Fri06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Sat06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Sun06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Monitor and control access to the property, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors at designated entry points.

Provide customer service by assisting individuals with questions regarding access procedures and site-specific policies.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe for any unusual or prohibited activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.

Maintain accurate records of access control activities, incidents, and any security-related concerns encountered during shifts.

Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related issues as they arise.

Support other security-related tasks as assigned, adapting to the unique requirements of an industrial and manufacturing location.

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
