Full Time/Office Position (40 hours/week)

Sales Associate/Estimator

Longstanding sheet metal manufacturer seeking self-motivated candidate to join our team as Sales Associate/Estimator.

Ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, has strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Strong math skills and proficient in MS Office is required.

Requirements:

Experience in manufacturing sales, estimating, sheet metal engineering, or project management roles preferred.

Experience with Salesforce and/or ERP systems a plus.

Post-secondary education in business administration, engineering or architectural related fields, manufacturing, sales, or other related fields, also a plus.

Must have technical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret drawings.

Responsibilities:

Receives sales calls for quote requests and produces estimates.

Continually communicate with the customer regarding all quote requests, identify required and/or missing information, etc.

Maintain salesforce database with all relevant information and drawings for each project.

Produce detailed descriptions in MS Word.

Send requests to Purchasing for pricing of outside materials.

Provide pricing for Engineering after the quote becomes a contract. (repricing memos)

Send budget pricing through e-mails.

Take phone calls from outside sales reps, architects, and contractors.

Prioritize due dates by quote request/urgency.

Send samples to architects when requested.

Update supplier pricing when increased.

Continual follow-up with customers, and continual updating in salesforce.

Continually communicate with National Sales Manager in order to meet deadlines.

Ensure consistent and effective communication with other sales/estimating team members.

Starting Salary Ranges from $45,000 -- $60,000. Starting salary will be commensurate with factors such as experience and education.
