The Position
The position is responsible for supporting daily operational activities related to the Compliance Department's government reporting obligations (e.g. Aggregate Spend, Corporate Integrity Agreement (CIA), Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy (REMS), etc.) Also supports data integrity of all Federal Sunshine data and assisting in any needed state reporting data aggregation and validation. Serves as a key data validation expert on Government Accountability data in the analytics environment.
Relationships
Reports to the Director, Government Accountability. Works regularly with other compliance staff and functional areas, information technology, legal and other Novo Nordisk business areas and functionally related departments to assure accuracy and timeliness of all captured data to support Federal and State Reporting. This position will also interact with external customers including healthcare professionals, third party/external vendors/consultants.
Essential Functions
Supports the Director in raising awareness of the Compliance program and fostering accountability for compliance throughout the organization
Supports the coordination and timely reporting of all government requirements (e.g. CIA, federal and state reporting, REMS requirements, etc.). Including but not limited to: support Aggregate spend and IRO support, employee certifications process, status updates
Participates in remediation and corrective action activities as requested
Supports creation, tracking and updates to the annual government reporting plan and specific project plans to meet these requirements, Supports the creation and preparation of regular status updates to Compliance Department leadership
Assists in department document organization, project management and tracking, largely related to government reporting requirements
Creates and runs reports on organizational spend data using Snowflake and PowerBI tools to provide summarized and insightful reports
All filed reports are tracked and readily available upon request
Responsible for budget support with respect to government reporting operational expenditures
Maintains understanding of laws and regulations, enforcement actions and evolving practices relevant to pharmaceutical compliance
Additional responsibilities with government reporting or departmental operational impact as assigned
Responsible for ensuring that Compliance senior management is informed of compliance issues in a timely manner
Physical Requirements
0-10% overnight travel required.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree is required
3+ years overall pharmaceutical, life sciences, or relevant industry experience; 2+ years working in health care compliance or project management/coordination
Strong knowledge and ability to aggregate, load, validate and interpret large data sets and coding ability (Snowflake, PowerBI, advanced Excel skills) required
Must possess a general knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical sales, marketing, and/or product related practices
Must possess general knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations and guidelines (e.g. PhRMA Code, Federal Anti-Kickback etc.)
Uncompromising ethics and high standard of personal integrity
Exceptional planning and organizing skills
Requires demonstrated cross-functional team facilitation experience
Demonstrated ability to work under tight timelines with a strong attention to detail
Superior communication skills

The base compensation range for this position is $81,010 to $ 317,920. Base compensation is determined based on a number of factors. This position is also eligible for a company bonus based on individual and company performance.
Novo Nordisk offers long-term incentive compensation and or company vehicles depending on the position's level or other company factors.
