We are looking for an Operations Manager who will lead a dynamic and growing fabrication operation, overseeing 100-150 employees in a high-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment. What you will do:

Lead daily operations across multiple fabrication areas to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals are met.

Drive a culture of operational excellence by implementing and sustaining Lean manufacturing and 5S methodologies.

Develop and mentor supervisors and front-line leaders, fostering a high-performing and engaged workforce.

Manage key performance indicators (KPIs), including productivity, efficiency, quality, on-time delivery, and cost.

Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to eliminate waste, reduce variability, and increase throughput.

Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth production flow and continuous improvement.

Oversee production scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to meet customer demands.

Interpret and apply engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure fabrication accuracy and compliance.

Utilize data-driven decision-making through Excel-based analysis, KPI dashboards, and PowerPoint reporting.

Manage cost performance of the operation and support budgeting, forecasting, and capital project planning.

Lead or support special projects to enhance safety, productivity, and overall operational performance.

What we are looking for:

Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

7+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience; fabrication or welding environment preferred.

Demonstrated success leading large teams (100+ employees) in a high-mix, fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Continuous Improvement principles.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; capable of building reports and presenting operational metrics.

Skilled in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and blueprints.

Welding knowledge or background is a strong plus.

Proven ability to drive measurable improvements in performance, quality, and cost.

Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and inspire others.

Strong problem-solving and project management skills with a bias for action.
