SUMMARY
UMEC is seeking a dynamic and strategic Logistics Director to lead the development and execution of supply chain operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient, timely, and cost-effective delivery of goods and services across all projects. The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking logistics professional with a strong grasp of industry trends, regulatory standards, and innovative supply chain solutions. Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills are essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Design and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies and logistics processes
Continuously monitor and enhance logistics performance metrics
Oversee inventory management and warehouse accuracy
Track transportation costs and ensure delivery quality
Analyze logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities
Develop and enforce logistics policies and procedures
Ensure full compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards
PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline
Minimum of 5 years' experience in logistics and supply chain leadership
In-depth knowledge of logistics systems, processes, and compliance standards
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to lead and inspire teams
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments
