As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Team in Council Bluffs, IA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed officer with Allied Universal in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment for all personnel. By conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations while delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor for potential hazards or suspicious activity during patrols and promptly report findings according to site protocols.
Support ongoing security-related operations by remaining visible and approachable to employees, visitors, and contractors within the location.
What We're Looking For:
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
CPR certification is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
Experience in customer service is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
