As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Council Bluffs, IA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will perform regular patrols of the premises, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or hazards encountered during patrols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors as needed while on patrol.
Document incidents and maintain accurate records in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits during patrols.
Support a secure environment by being alert to unusual conditions and reporting concerns in a timely manner.
What We're Looking For:
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Customer service experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
