Eaton's GEIS division is currently seeking a Product Line Manager - Electrical Enclosures & Metering. This is a remote position for candidates currently residing within a 50-mile radius of the following locations: Syracuse, NY, Highland, IL, Moon Township, PA, Houston, TX, or Dallas, TX. Relocation is not provided for this role.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $108749.97 - $159499.96 a year. Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What you'll do:
This role leads the strategic direction and execution of the B-Line Series Electrical Enclosure and Metering product portfolio, a business segment generating over $80 million in annual revenue. The position oversees the full lifecycle of the portfolio-from product development and pricing strategy to marketing initiatives and operational performance. The successful candidate will drive commercial growth and margin expansion across residential, commercial, and industrial markets by aligning product positioning with customer needs and market trends.
In this role you will:
Portfolio Leadership: Oversee the virtual P&L for the Enclosure and Metering product portfolio, consistently surpassing financial targets and driving profitable growth.
Strategic Growth Planning: Define and execute long-term growth strategies for the B-Line Series Enclosures and Metering products, aligning with market trends and business objectives.
Market Intelligence & Innovation: Continuously gather competitive insights, market data, and customer feedback to identify new product opportunities, adjacent markets, and enhancements to pricing and promotional strategies.
Product Development Execution: Lead and coordinate the end-to-end New Product Introduction (NPI) process to ensure timely market launches and successful adoption.
Drive Operational Excellence: Lead initiatives to optimize product availability, service levels, and supply chain performance. This includes managing OTTR (On-Time to Request), developing recovery action plans, refining stocking strategies, and setting clear lead time expectations. Collaborate with SCM and Engineering to resolve supply constraints, oversee logistics and distribution efficiency, and ensure timely service updates are communicated to the sales team.
Forecasting & Planning: Support both short- and long-term planning efforts, including SIOP and regional profit planning. Optimize product mix and volume in collaboration with Network Planning to meet profitability goals.
What you'll do:
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships across sales, marketing, engineering, and operations teams. Champion process improvements focused on growth, margin expansion, product rationalization, and value engineering.
Performance Evaluation & Marketing Strategy: Assess product performance through internal analytics and direct market feedback. Develop targeted marketing strategies and promotional campaigns to expand market share.
Pricing Strategy: Establish and manage pricing strategies that balance volume, market competitiveness, and profitability-including support for custom product requests.
Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and product developments. Create actionable insights and tools for Field Sales to maintain a competitive edge
Customer Support: Deliver expert technical guidance to customers throughout the entire sales cycle-from initial application and specification through to quotation and installation. Respond promptly to customer inquiries related to expedites and quality concerns, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.
Sales Enablement Tools: Partner with sales and marketing teams to create and maintain product documentation and tools, including presentations, promotional materials, digital content, sample kits, and cross-reference guides.
Training & Education: Design and deliver product training programs for internal teams and external partners to ensure deep product knowledge and effective market engagement.
Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum of seven (7) years of engineering, marketing, or field sales experience with technical products (electrical).
