As a Security Professional Armed Patrol Driver - Aero/Defense in Redmond, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.
As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in an aerospace and defense-focused location, you will conduct routine patrols across assigned areas while carrying a firearm, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. This role requires driving responsibilities, engaging with team members and visitors, and delivering outstanding customer service. You will play a key role in upholding Allied Universal's values by acting with integrity, collaborating with your team, and demonstrating reliability in all security-related interactions within this dynamic environment.

What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activities.
Monitor access points and help to maintain control over entry and exit from the premises.
Remain alert to any suspicious activities and report findings according to site protocols.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help to deter unwanted behavior.
Complete detailed incident and activity reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.
What We're Looking For:

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Must possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
Must have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or at least 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or at least 3 years of security-related experience.
Must possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
