Market Data Specialist

The MuscoMarketing teamhas an opening for aMarket Data Specialistat ourOskaloosa office. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure data within Musco systems is complete, accurate and easily accessible allowing the data to be used to make decisions and create team member focus within the @context of Musco-s mission. Essential Criteria:

Associates degree and 3-5 years of related work experience or combination of both.

Familiarity with Microsoft applications (Office, SharePoint, Teams) helpful.

Experience driving initiatives used to create process changes.

Ability to communicate data in an easy-to-understand manner.

Ability to successfully train other team members.

Take ownership of, provide definition to, and drive projects forward.

Able to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Enjoy working with diverse workload - from focused & in-depth projects to quick popup needs.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Curious, willing to look for solutions and better ways of doing things.

Organized with attention to detail

Working knowledge of computer and needed software and applications

Innovative problem-solving with a team-oriented mindset.

Familiarity with Musco solutions is a plus.

Limited travel and night/weekend work possible as needed.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Ensure accuracy of data stored in Musco systems.

This could include market, geographic, customer and project data, etc.

Make recommendations and drive data integrity initiatives. This could include identifying current opportunities or implementing new tools, processes, etc.

Provide training on data integrity, standards, tools, and associated processes.

Utilize tools and other contracting intelligence solutions to research opportunities to procure new projects and identify potential lost projects.

Review and summarize potential project opportunities to allow for follow-up & understanding of trends.

Compare the data in Musco systems to the data within the tools & contracting intelligence solutions for accuracy.

Assist with preparing internal & external research and reports.

Creating & maintaining routine reports.

As needed research for external data.

Other duties as assigned.
