Job Title: Inventory Clerk

Job Summary:

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment. This role ensures that all materials required for maintenance operations are available, properly stored, and tracked. The Inventory Clerk works closely with maintenance technicians and vendors to support efficient and timely maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and record incoming maintenance materials and supplies.

Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software or spreadsheets.

Issue tools, parts, and supplies to maintenance personnel as needed.

Monitor stock levels and reorder materials to prevent shortages.

Organize and maintain the cleanliness and order of the maintenance storeroom.

Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.

Assist in preparing purchase requisitions and communicating with vendors.

Track usage trends and provide reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Ensure compliance with safety and storage regulations.

Support audits and inspections related to inventory control.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.

1-2 years of experience in inventory control, preferably in a maintenance or facilities environment.

Familiarity with maintenance tools, parts, and equipment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate forklifts or pallet jacks (if required).

Preferred Skills:

Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).

Knowledge of OSHA storage and safety regulations.

Basic understanding of maintenance workflows and terminology.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eastvale, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
