By putting people at the center of our operations, we build strong connections, nurture innovation, and create fulfilling work experiences for all.About This Role and YouThe Poultry Account Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing relationships and sales of litter amendments in the designated region of United States. Position requires strong selling skill to develop new markets as well as a solid technical knowledge of poultry production. The Account Manager will also be responsible for maintaining critical customer contacts and understanding market dynamics and recommend/implement appropriate actions.Qualifications- 5-10 years of experience in poultry production and/or sales and marketing.- Proven verbal and interpersonal communication skills- Valid driver's license is required- Ability to travel between 50-70% of time- Strong computer skills (SAP, Office, CRM)ResponsibilitiesManage an assigned territory:- Gain market info and develop litter amendment sales in the designated region of US.- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential integrators and applicators (customers) in the territory to understand needs, gain market knowledge and recommend actions.- Ensure relationships where end-use customers (growers/integrators) are favorable. Take appropriate action if a customer is dissatisfied with any aspect of Chemtrade service.- Independently develop/implement specific account by account tactical strategy to exceed contribution/margin plan, focusing on key criteria of volume and selling price.- Develop, analyze, and negotiate sales agreements at strategic accounts with input from management to meet corporate objectives.- Answer customer's requests regarding their operation problems related directly or indirectly to the use of our products.Communications:- Conscientiously review and communicate potential opportunities that add value to the current business which is aligned with the growth strategy.- Effectively manage sales processes including effective communication with customers (price change notifications, quotations, etc.) territory management and planning, budgeting, and forecasting, call reports, expenses, etcOther:- Proactively cooperate with operations, distribution, customer service, technical and quality functions to resolve customer issues and successfully implement business strategy.- Work/Coordinate field trials to develop new business or support our business along with the Sales/Marketing DepartmentsWhat Chemtrade Offers YouEmbracing Diversity, Maximizing ResultsAt Chemtrade we are committed to cultivating a work environment that embraces and values the unique qualities, skills, and experiences of every employee.
