Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $23 - $27 / hour*
What you'll be doing as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic:
Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test, and make adjustments
Performs scheduled and regular preventative maintenance repairs on machines, equipment, and plant facilities
Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
Performs mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines
Uses a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties
Detects faulty operations, defective material and reports those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
Maintains production areas, maintenance shop, and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
Maintains and repairs facility equipment including, but not limited to, air condition units, restrooms, lighting/electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
Maintains company required performance and maintenance records for production equipment
Prepares written reports for management to answer and report findings and pending decision and/or changes as needed
Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment, through periodic on call availability during all plant operating hours
Provide pareto analysis of deviations from production schedule
Lead weekly production inventory counts

Job requirements:
High school diploma and completion of a craft apprenticeship or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience
Associate's Degree in a related technical field such as mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance is preferred

Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables
Must complete training as specified by the Company. Safety glasses must be worn at all times in all manufacturing, production, and factory areas
Hearing and vision protection, or other PPE, may be required when performing certain job functions
Employee must utilize mechanical aids (or assistance of a co-worker) to lift and/or move objects over 65 pounds

While performing the duties of the Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit; use hands for maintenance duties
The employee is required to reach with hands and arms

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, color vision, and ability to adjust focus
Acute hearing is necessary for telephone and in-person communication with callers and assisting coworkers, and visual acuity sufficient to read a computer screen and paper documents
Environmental Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts
The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration
The noise level in the work environment is moderate
