Description We are looking for a skilled Legal Secretary to join our team in Fresno, California. The ideal candidate will support attorneys in civil litigation and personal injury cases, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality legal documentation. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of legal procedures.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and draft legal documents, including motions and pleadings, with precision and attention to detail.

Organize and maintain case files to ensure accessibility and compliance with legal standards.

Assist attorneys with depositions, ensuring all necessary materials and arrangements are in place.

Conduct research to support civil litigation and personal injury cases.

Facilitate communication between attorneys, clients, and other parties involved in legal processes.

Manage scheduling and deadlines for court appearances and other legal proceedings.

Review and proofread legal documents to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulations.

Provide administrative support to attorneys, including handling correspondence and managing calendars.

Stay updated on changes in civil litigation and personal injury law to enhance case preparation.

Coordinate with licensed attorneys to ensure compliance with legal requirements. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge and experience in civil litigation and personal injury law.

Proficiency in drafting motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.

Familiarity with deposition procedures and requirements.

Excellent organizational skills to manage case files and legal deadlines.

Effective communication skills for interacting with attorneys, clients, and court personnel.

Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing legal documents.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
